Kevin and I went to see Fred Penner on Wednesday. It was truly the nostalgic trip I was looking for and completely worth the $12 plus tax.
Kevin however didn't enjoy it as much. He watched Fred Penners place for the content and stories more than for the music, and as Fred came to put on a musical show, he was slightly dissapointed.
I however, could not get over how many great songs from my childhood years he ended up playing! Sandwhiches are beautiful, Puff the Magic Dragon, The Cat came Back, and even that one about the toy that goes Zap, Bob, Whurr... You know which one I am talking about!
Of course he ended off the night with "Take good care of eachother", and then came back onstage for This little light of mine. Too bad Grambo wasn't there. I think she would have enjoyed it!
