.fallen.

Well, fall has come and gone it seems in just one short month. No more leaves adorne the trees of Saskatoon as far as I can tell. We are left with the spindly leaf-less trees that arch over many of the streets here. I can't say that I am dissapointed in the least. As much as I love warm weather, winter is something that I look forward to every year. Go ahead, say I am crazy. But to me there is nothing more beautiful than waking up with snow on the ground, and frost heavily weighing down the branches of the trees.
I am still plugging away at my job here at Saskatoon Media Group. I have found that I really enjoy radio. The people who work here are all animated and each have such different personalities, it makes for some funny conversations between Kevin and I. I like being able to talk to him about my work day, and have him laugh along with me at the quirks of the people in our office building.
This past month, besides being busy with work and young women, has been busy while I am writing out itinerary for our trip to Paris. We only have 2 and a half weeks left until we go, and it hasn't really hit me yet. This is my first time out of North America. I have never been to a country where the national language isn't english and I hope to be surprised, confused, and surrounded by French. Kevin often speaks french to me at home, and I reply to him in Spanish. We usually can understand eachtother okay, but there are some times where his questions in French are met by my blank stares.
We are going to visit some people from his mission while we are there. 3 different families. I know he is pretty excited to see them, and I am excited to not only be a tourist in France, but be in the homes of some people he taught and be able to see more culture.
Unfortunatly in the Athens part of our trip, we will be only playing the tourist. We have several small trips to Greek Islands that are close to Athens and we are crossing our fingers that the weather will be good despite it being the middle of November.
I checked the forecast today and Paris is sitting at +10, and Athens at +19. If anything Paris weather will be close to Canada, and Athens hopefully will feel much warmer. Its surprising how warm +19 can feel when it is hovering around zero in Canada.
This week Kevin and I dont have alot going on which I am glad for. As much as I like to be busy, thre isn't anything better than spending the night cooking a good supper while I hear Kevin talking to his video games, and then snuggling close while we continue to watch episodes of Heroes. (we are almost finished. any suggestions for a new television series?)
