.she who had a name- but shall remain nameless.

.CAT.
Kevin caved, and I received my beautiful little kitten last week. I had originally named her Sofie, but when Kevin got home we had a debate. See, Sofie is one of the only two girls names that we agree on for human babies- not un-litter trained fuzzballs. With this debate about future human baby names having gone on for a good many years, I have decided to retract the name of said kitten, and for now she remains nameless. We will not have a child named after the family shed-machine. So I am open to suggestions on the name of Kitty Robertson. Note: Claire is an unacceptable name, as it is the only other name that we have agreed on for human babies.
Other than that- I anxiously await to hear any fantastic suggestions that people may have.
In other news, we are all settled in here in Edmonton! We have the smallest basement suite ever, and our company gets to walk THROUGH our bedroom to get to the bathroom. *sigh* That means when people come over I might actually have to clean the entire place, instead of hastily throwing things into the bedroom and shutting the door. No secrets here.
We are SO happy that Community, The Office , AND Parks and Recreation are back on television. Our lives have meaning again.
Kevin is working hard at iNews880 (listen to him online sometime, he is great at what he does!) However, we just found out that his shift is 1pm-9pm Wednesday to Sunday. It is kind of a bummer, and we wont be able to see each other all that often, but that is life when you are married to a junior News Reporter!
As for me, no secured job yet. I have been looking, and applying, and looking some more and nothing has really come up. I do have an interview tomorrow with NewCap Radio in West Edmonton Mall to do Traffic, so I am crossing my fingers that I can land the position!
That is about all that has transpired in our lives so far this new year.
P.S- Just watched the Truman Show and I forgot about how awesome it is. Take an hour an a half out of your day, make a bowl of popcorn in your whirly pop, crack open that can of diet coke, and enjoy!
