.busiest week ever.

I want to use this post  just to vent about this busy week, and how I almost broke down on Monday night because the cat tracked paint on my table tops, and the legs started wobbling. That is true stress right there. Dad would say "get rid of that darn cat", and I would say "...but daaaaaad, she keeps catching mice, and is just so so so cute all the time".  I can't help but love her and forgive her immediately. I hope I am more forgiving with my children, but if Sofie was a human being, she would be getting a swat on her butt right about now.

This week has been busy, but I am almost done! I was on Global TV on Tuesday morning talking about the tables and bird feeders, and spend the night doing last minute touch ups on them. I also finished the infant headbands!

Now all I need to do is finish the earrings and my coffee cards! The coffee-cards are just plain white greeting cards that I have soaked in coffee to give it a rustic look and then I will be sewing fabric on them tonight. This idea was stolen from a great blogger that I follow and here is the link.  http://abeautifulmess.typepad.com/my_weblog/2012/02/make-your-own-stationery-set.html

And call me crazy, but I just bought one more side table to paint before the big day. I will have to paint and laquer it all on Friday night because the show is the next day. I am going to be busy busy busy!

Okay enough about me.

Kevin's 26th birthday is tomorrow!

Wasn't he such a cute/fat baby?

He is getting up there. Under 25 you can be still practically considered a teenager, but when you get over 25 people expect you to be getting married or have babies. At least Kevin is 50% there. I got him an iPad for his birthday, and I was spilling over with such excitement to have him open it that he did on Monday. I think I shocked him really good. I got him a USB microphone for our anniversary 3 weeks ago and he thought the gift would be covering both birthday and anniversary. Success!

Be sure to send Kevin  your well-wishes tomorrow, I am sure he will love it!
