.bellie @ 2 months.

i've started giving elliot the nickname belli a few weeks ago and it has stuck (derived from the rhyming ellie-bellie ) sometimes i call him bells, and sometimes belliot. maybe its weird, but i dont care. his most common nicknames when talking to kevin are usually turd, or monkey. but if i am talking or playing with him, i usually use bells.

i realized that i didnt write a 2 month update for bellie because i didnt think he had really grown enough to merit an update, but looking back at my journal of the past 2 months i realize that there is lots to report!

- elliot is growing! a ton i feel. i have already put away a box full of clothes and he has graduated into 0-3 month, and some 3-6 month clothes. we just pulled out four 6-9 month onsies that should fit him in a week or two. weird. i cant wait till he is older and stays in an outfit for more than 2-3 weeks.

- as i mentioned on facebook, elliot rolled over last night for kevin! all of a sudden this baby went from hating tummy time to LOVing it. he wont do it for me yet, but i am hopeful.  here are some shots of him enjoying tummy time this morning.

- he is so much more interactive now too. he bats at his toys hanging from the play gym and he will copy the faces i make to him. his favorite right now is attempting to click his tongue. he isnt very good at doing it, but i am sure it will come along. he mostly just sticks his tongue out instead.

-one of my favorite interactive things that he does is coo. i love talking to him! my sister jenny has been asking me to post a video of him for quite a while now, so here is one of him cooing that we took this morning after tummy time.
