seven months

Yesterday Elliot turned seven months old. He isn't doing as much as other seven month olds, but he is sure getting adventurous that is for sure. It is going to be a long time I feel until he starts rolling over and crawling. He still turns into a crying mess if he is placed on his tummy yet I still do it several times a day hoping he will do something. So far it is still just crying and bashing his face into the floor.
We started feeding him solids at six months and it has been a struggle. He will always open his mouth for food, but won't swallow it. Just spits everything out. Except the other day I fed him some things off my plate without pureeing and he sat there just slowly chewing with his little bottom teeth and then I assumed he swallowed it because it didnt end up back on his shirt again! Turns out maybe this baby just doesn't like puree baby food? Also, I have given him cheerios every once in a while and they seem to get chewed and swallowed too.
Elliot is quite vocal and cheerful. He is always squealing and making funny noises. He will usually gargle to sleep when I put him down for naps. I hear his shrill gargle in the monitor for at least 5 minutes before he drops off to sleep.
He loves when Kevin throws him around in the air and lifts him up to touch the ceiling. I have come to terms with the tossing around of my baby, especially since he is older and nothing really seems to phase or scare him right now.
I have some videos of him being a goofball, and once I figure out how to take them off my camera I'll post one or two.
Anyways, that is about it when it comes to Elliot. He had a spell for a little while when he didn't want to go to bed and would cry for an hour which was really annoying, but he is back to being a good little boy and falling asleep within 10 minutes of putting him down. (thank goodness)
