.brothers.

elliot could still care less for his little brother but he has started doing things like rubbing his head or belly occasionally and saying "hawo baby". i just think they will be the best of friends when they are able to start really playing together.

let me go over how the boys are doing. often elliot will do something stinking hilarious and i'll think "i need to remember to write this in my journal". and of course i forget about it right away.

Elliot/ Bean:  He is growing up so much! Kevin and I both think that he is starting to change his looks. Going through some sort of growth spurt over the last couple weeks and it makes me sad. At least it means he needs new clothes that fit him and shopping for wee boy clothes is one of my favourite things.
Right now he can say quite a few words. He often uses his hands to try and demonstrate the things he is trying to convey and it is pretty darn cute. No full on sentances yet, but I feel we are getting really close. He surprises me every day with new words.
Elliot is and has been for the past year a VERY hands on little boy. My dad loves to tell everyone how Elliot could put a screw on the drill and screw it into the wall since he was only 18 months old. He catches on to things very quickly if hand-eye coordination is involved or puzzle solving. We bought him a little drum kit and he's already picking up on basic beats Kevin shows him. I love bragging about my little do-all man.
Yesterday we ate supper and after supper Kevin and I had already left the table but Elliot stayed to eat a bowl of icecream. Kevin came into the dining room to find Elliot with his arms crossed and head bowed and mumbling some toddler jibberish to himself and then he said "AMEN". Turns out he is super grateful for icecream. (He also calls icecream "cone". Even if its without a cone. He often asks for a bowl of cone)
As cute as he is, right now is tantrum central. I even had to cancel lunch yesterday because he was being so riddiculous there was no way he was entering a restaurant. He loves to throw/dump things and do the classic throwing himself on the floor type tantrum. Very much the cliche terrible two year old.
Even though he can be cranky pants we love him anyways. He does the darndest things and its so fun to show him new things.

Sebastien:
It is much easier to write about Sebastien because there is still not much to say. He is 3 months old and mostly still eats, sleeps and poops. Its pretty great having an immobile child. However he is starting to figure out his hands and feet and scooting himself around the floor when he is laying on his back
I am pretty sure he is teething right now. He can be irritable and the drool is coming in buckets. But he is also oddly the happiest baby too. He loves to be bounced and loves to look at faces. He has recently started giggling and it honestly isn't the most beautiful sound. He sucks in air and sounds like a braying donkey but it is hilarious and so fun to watch. I am always trying to make him laugh now.
Sebastien is starting to get a personality and it is pretty flirty. I'm loving it. I was afraid with two boys closer together that I wouldn't get time to enjoy my little baby. But I am 100% taking my time enjoying Sebastien a lot. Thats what Bubble Guppies is for. Bean can watch while I cuddle my other turd.

here are some photos i took of them together this afternoon. we moved elliot over to a twin bed last night for his first time and he did great. so we lifted the mattress on his crib so Sebastien can start sleeping in there now. i'm so glad to get him out of the bassinet.

here are my boys. the first of the kevin robertson hockey lineup.
