.daily grind.

I have been havng a hard time coming up with things to do while I am at work the past few weeks, but then it just occured to me that I can blog. I mean, usually I think in order for me to create a great blog post I need to have a picture to accompany it, plus a great story.
But since I am pretty sure I am the one that reads this 99% of the time, that it would be okay just to talk about the daily ins and outs of our lives.
SO.... this week has been very busy. And its good to be busy. Some weeks we sit at home, watch tv for a bit and go to bed early like a couple of old people. But the weeks I like best are weeks like this, where we go out, meet new people and I am a little more tired than usual when I get up in the morning. Its a good sign that I had a productive night before.
On Monday we went over for dinner to a family in the ward's house. We had never really met them before, but they had us over for dinner and FHE anyways. It was fun getting to know them and their kids. I have to admit, I am quite awkward around children, so it was interesting. But I held a 7month old girl without her screaming. It was a nice change.
On Tuesday Kevin was working late which means I was able to spend the night alone. Typically I hate these nights because I have a hard time finding things to do, but I went walking/jogging for almost an hour and other than making myself supper it took up most of my night.
Last night we went to Institute and then Kevin decided that he would come jogging with me. When we were about 4 blocks from home he yelled "Race you home!" And took off running. I was already tired by then, so when I got home he was already downstairs relaxing on the couch watching tv.
Tnight we are going out to another friend's house for dinner which should be nice, and then tomorrow is Underoath/ Comeback Kid and General Conference over the weekend. What a nice and busy weekend. I hope there are more to come!
