chairs, chairs, chairs

Kevin told me last week that I am not allowed to buy anymore furniture until I sell something. So I decided to finally buckle down and get to work on something to sell. I picked up these two chairs from a man who had used them in his garage to rest his skis on them while he was waxing them. Needless to say the seat covers are covered in wax and nasty garage dust. So I ripped off the previous covers, sanded down the board, and added a 1 inch foam filler before covering them. I think these little chairs are darling with the wavy backrest and I hope to get them done for pictures, and for sale in the next few days. This time I am doing more of a boring seat cover (in my opinion) sporting green and white polka dots. I've heard feedback from some people that my projects are too outrageous and paisley/floral. So to appeal to someone's house with a simpler design I am sticking to the plain with a pop of bright green.
I'll post pictures as soon as the sanding/painting is complete and they are up for sale!
