3rd Anniversary

on Sunday it will have been 3 years since Kevin and I tied the knot, and 6 years before that we had our first date, and 1 year before that we met for the very first time at a Moroni's Quest. (i barely remember a thing about him except the tea towel on his head, but he could probably tell you a few dozen things he remembers about me on that camp. it was a good start to an excellent relationship)

this weekend is going to be jam-packed with quite a few things going on, so between my grandparents coming for a visit, the kub kar rally, piano lessons, kevin's new calling, and a relief society activity- we decided to break up the celebrations to last three days long!

tonight after supper and piano kevin is going to be taking me on a surprise date. i keep pestering him for information about it. (this is the first time he has EVER done this, by the way other than when he proposed to me, which was a complete surprise) anyways, he will NOT budge at all. all i know is that this date has to happen on any other day than sunday, and beyond that- i have no clue. he keeps telling me not to get my hopes up, and that the date isn't really anything spectacular, but it is really hard not being excited!

tomorrow we plan to go to the Marc for supper (kevin and i kinda have a crush on european food. he loooooves french food- likely from his mission, and i love love love italian food but it has to be outstanding italian food) we weren't able to get reservations at Corso 32 in town (italian) which i have been dying to try, but we got reservations at The Marc (french), and i am sure it is going to be delicious!

to end off our anniversary weekend on Sunday, Kevin will be making me rice-a-roni and grilled cheese sandwiches. which he proved to me to be two of the only things he could successfully cook as a bachelor. i don't know why this combination of foods has stuck, but it has. and if he is willing to cook lunch, i am not going to argue with that!

anyways, i also made him a cheesy anniversary gift, which i will post pictures of after he opens it this weekend.

here is to 3 awesome years of marriage, 4 different houses, 1 new baby, 4 vehicles, and a stupid cat.
