.2nd anniversary.

That's right! Two whole years of marriage. In some instances it feels like it went by fast, but it also feels like we have been married forever. Doesn't help that we dated forever before we tied the knot! But here we are and happy as ever!

For this year's anniversary we had a repeat of last year's dinner. Flowers, dinner, gifts. The typical anniversary. And it was lovely. But before the anniversary celebrations began, I got my hair cut! What do you think?

 This before picture looks especially horrid because not only is it pre-hair cut, it is also pre- makeup. If any of you have missed the chance at seeing me drowsy and not beautified in the morning, this is what you all are missing out on.

Ta-da! Hair. Cut. It isn't that spectacular really. Just thinner. Which in my world of thick but fine hair that tangles really easily, it actually IS spectacular after all! Well look at that.

Now, on to the A-v--sary.

We ate at Cafe Select just like we did the year before. I got the same duck breast, and Kevin got almost the same steak filet, but wrapped in bacon this time. And OH MY GOODNESS. Pretty much anywhere that sells baked goat cheese is a friend of mine. We had SUCH good baked goat cheese and caprese salad (my favorite salad). It was almost as good as the baked goat cheese at the Blue Plate Diner which is quite hard to beat.

That was our anniversary! I got Kevin a usb blue microphone for recording music and he wrote me a song like he did for my 23rd Birthday, and it is fabulous! He also got me some flowers! He couldn't find tiger lilies, but Asian lilies are pretty too!
