So Kevin and I went to a group information session tonight at the centre that we are delivering at. It was gorgeous! We are very pleased to hear about all the wonderful care they will be providing us, and to see the place where our little squirt will be born.
I think there was some good information that they gave us, and it gave us some things to think about. For example, the optional 12 week ultra sound for genetic screening. Although it might be neat to see the baby, if we end up having a child with down syndrome we will still love it and care for it regardless, so we decided that we will bypass the testing. We will see baby at our 18 week ultrasound, and really, December isn't that far away!
Anyways, there isn't much to tell, except that we are already very pleased with our decision to go with the Lucina Centre and we are looking forward to our first one-on-one appointment with out midwife team Sabrina and Leesha next week!
